HELP us save ASCII smiles!!!

The "ASCII Smiles" NFT is a collection of 12,000 randomly generated well-known smiles from our past. ASCII smiles (emoticons) were very popular in the late 1990s, and we want to keep the memory of this miracle in the blockchain forever.

We created a smart-contract that will host the whole collection on all most popular blockchains. Non-blockchain sources or IPFS will not be used. This guarantees that you will have access to your "NFT Smile Card" always while the Ethereum blockchain is operational. This also makes it possible to create countless community projects based on information from the ASCII Smiles smart contract.

12,000 ASCII Smiles NFT will be minted.
Every Smile is randomly generated during minting.
All stats and the images are stored on the blockchain.
You can assign a nickname for your NFT on the blockchain.
All parts are accessible for any smart contract.

You will be able to mint a new ASCII Smile NFT using your Metamask wallet. Minting will have two phases.
The first phase will be available for white-listed accounts only (there is a limit of ten (10) NFTs per wallet). 1,000 NFTs will be available in this phase.
The second phase will be available for everyone (maximum of five (5) NFT’s per transaction and a limit of ten (10) NFT’s per wallet).

We have reserved 200 NFTs for giveaways. It will be distributed between early supporters, contest winners and post-sale giveaway winners.

What are ASCII Smiles NFT collection?

"ASCII Smiles" is a collection of 12,000 unique, randomly generated ERC721 NFTs roaming on most popular blockchains. Every Smile contains 6 components: Rarity, Hat, Eyes, Nose, Mouth and Beard. The Hat only has cards of the Uncommon rarity and up. The Beard only has cards of the Epic rarity and up.

Why is "ASCII Smiles NFT" unique?

The "ASCII Smiles" is the first project of its kind. If you look closely at almost any NFT collection. You will be disappointed. The parameters of your NFT are most likely stored only on the developer's server and can be changed or removed at any time. This is not a decentralized future. Unlike the others, all parameters of ASCII Smile and the SVG image of the card are stored on the blockchain. No external sources or IPFS have been used. This guarantees that your Smile will be stored on the blockchain forever and cannot be lost or modified. Even as a developer, I can not set the parameters I want for each NFT. All parameters are random and based on mathematical probabilities. This is the first multi-chain NFT collection. Minted on almost every EVM compartible blockchain. The information about your Smile NFT can be accessed by any external smart contract and used in various community projects in the future. This is not possible with non-on-chain NFTs. Another great feature is that you can give your NFT a custom nickname that will be stored in the blockchain and displayed as a token name in your collection.

How much will minting cost?

This is a FREE-to-mint project. That means you have to pay a blockchain fees only.
However, there is an option to donate any amount on the Mint page. This will help us achieve our goals faster.

When is the launch date?

Yes, you are free to use ASCII Smiles NFT in any way you want.

Who are the creators of the project?

The project does not have a dedicated team. I am a blockchain and web developer with 20 years of experience. The idea for this collection came from my 11-year-old son and was inspired by the "Loot (for Adventurers)" project. We created this project together and I really like it! I am sure you will like it too. :-)

The main reason for creating this collection is to unite a strong "ASCII Smiles community". The moral principles of this community will not be based on rappers, gold chains and lambas. I hope we will bring together many successful people, developers, creators and inventors who are passionate about new technologies and may even remember what Fidonet was all about :). They will make new friends and help each other to realise unique and interesting ideas! (so inspiring ;))
